Secret Invasion Review

The series is set in the present-day Marvel Cinematic Universe and features a darker tone than other Marvel Studios projects. The series explores the theme of trust, as Fury and his allies must question who they can trust in a world where anyone could be a Skrull. The series also features a new take on the Skrulls, who are shown as being more complex and nuanced than they have been in previous Marvel projects.

“Secret Invasion” premiered on Disney+ on June 21, 2023, and new episodes will come out weekly until July 26th.

The series is based on the Marvel Comics event of the same name. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clark, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Olivia Colman.
