About Sk8 the Infinity

Sk8 the Infinity takes place in Okinawa, Japan, and follows a group of skateboarders who compete in an underground competition known as “S.” When Canadian newcomer Langa Hasegawa moves to Japan, he is quickly befriended by the free-spirited skateboarder/skateboard designer, Reki Kyan.

Among these skaters is 13 year old prodigy, Miya Chinen. Miya is known for his elite skills and candidacy for the Japanese national skate team. Though Miya starts out as a loner whose talent makes him an outcast among peers, he quickly forms strong bonds with fellow “S” competitors Reki, Langa, Joe, and Cherry.

Here are some of our favorite Miya quotes.
