My Hero Ultra Impact is now available in app stores

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. announced that “My Hero Ultra Impact,” a new smartphone game for the App Store/Google Play Store, is now available! Based on the smash hit anime series My Hero Academia, this game features casual RPG combat and iconic characters from the series.

“My Hero Ultra Impact”

The popular Shonen Jump anime My Hero Academia follows young Izuku Midoriya and his classmates of U.A. High School. Most of the people in society have special powers called “Quirks.” Midoriya and his friends are working on becoming heroes, training to refine their quirks to help protect the world from villains.

Originally released in Japan, new players will have access to a lot of content from the get-go. The English version of the game is a direct translation of the Japanese title, which means that it will have all the same new characters, features, and events that the Japanese title has had since its inception. New gamers will not miss out on anything, including a new update that features a Player versus Player mode.

Features of the game

Players can experience a casual Quirk battle RPG where they will engage foes 3-on-3 using the heroes they’ve trained! There are original 3D models of the characters from the show and manga. Also, players can use their Quirks with a simple touch and link up their heroes’ Quirks in order to pull off skill chains. There they’ll be able to unleash the power of Plus Ultra moves! There is also an option to train in the Unforeseen Simulation Joint (USJ) with the U.A. High teachers and Pro Heroes. Take on the VE Tower (exclusive to this game), where fearsome foes await!

Of course, there is the opportunity to relive the tale of My Hero Academia in Story Mode. Story Mode begins with the meeting of the main character, Izuku Midoriya, and the Number One Hero, All Might. Players can watch U.A. High-Class 1-A learn and grow. Experience the attack on USJ as well as the U.A. Sports Festival, prepare for the looming threats of the League of Villains and the Shie Hassaikai. You’ll be able to relive fan-favorite scenes from the anime as you strive to turn Deku and his friends into Pro Heroes.

There will be a collection of exclusive, high-quality illustrations that include characters’ special attacks and Quirks. Brand new memory illustrations will depict familiar and impactful scenes from the anime and new ones from the game. UR rarity character illustrations can be set to the home screen where they will be animated with the captivating new Cinemagraphy feature. Gamers will have the ability to train up their characters and then awaken them to transform their illustrations.

Additionally, players will be able to interact with their favorite heroes at their own Hero Base as well. The Hero Base works as a function of the game where you can customize the inside to look like U.A. High, a villain’s lair, or whatever else you may enjoy. Players will have the ability to even invite heroes and villains to hang out there.

“My Hero Ultra Impact” has already surpassed 3 million downloads in Japan since its release in May 2021. You can download the game from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
