Netflix Announces ‘Devil May Cry’ Season 2

Netflix announced “Devil May Cry” has been renewed for season 2! While there is no release date, fans can look forward to a second season soon.

Along with the announcement, Netflix provided a teaser visual. This visual shows Dante, the anime’s main character, with one eye glowing and one of his guns pointed off-screen.

According to Netflix, “Season 1 debuted at #4 on the global top 10 list with 5.3M views in just three days, reached the top 10 in 87 countries, and boasts a 95% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.”

The “Devil May Cry” anime is based on the Capcom video game of the same name and created by Adi Shankar. It follows Dante (voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch in English), an orphaned demon hunter for hire. Supernatural forces have entered the world of humans, leaving destruction in their wake. They aim to open a portal between worlds to further their sinister plans. While Dante is a demon hunter, he is unaware that the very fate of his world and the world of demons hangs around his neck.

This series is rated mature for adult audiences. Season 1 has eight episodes, all available now.
