In this episode host Maria is joined by content creators Pooja, Shiv, and Minhas to discuss Season 4 of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever. 

Never Have I Ever is a comedy-drama series about Devi Vishwakumar, a first-generation Indian American teenage girl who is trying to navigate her complicated life. She is an overachiever who is also short-tempered, which often gets her into trouble. The series is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher and stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi.

Devi is trying to figure out who she is and where she belongs. She is torn between her Indian heritage and her American upbringing. Devi’s parents are immigrants from India, and they are trying to raise her in the traditional Indian way. However, Devi is also influenced by American culture, which often leads to conflict between her and her parents. Devi is trying to figure out her place in the world, and she is also trying to navigate her relationships with her friends, family, and crushes. Never Have I Ever is a funny and heartwarming show that explores the challenges and joys of growing up.

About our Hosts

Maria is a regular host of the podcast and a big fan of Never Have I Ever, so getting together with her fellow content creators to review the film was a must. She is also a medical student that loves to overthink and overanalyze tv shows a little too much.  And so now she has a TikTok dedicated to just that.
