New “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” Trailer with a New Poster and a Release Date

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” Trailer

Just for the sake of the franchise and fandom, by that release date, it will be 15 years (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was released in 2008) since fans last saw Harrison Ford in the titular whip-cracking, adventure, and thrill-seeking role.

This film will be the highly anticipated fifth installment of the iconic “Indiana Jones” franchise, starring Harrison Ford as the legendary hero archaeologist, and directed by James Mangold (“Ford v Ferrari,” “Logan”).

The film will bring new and fresh faces as well as the hope of some iconic roles returning to the franchise. For one thing, this film will surely have some fans feeling nostalgic as Master Composer John Williams once again brings his score to the film and what would be touted as the last he will score for Indiana Jones.

Starring along with Ford is Phoebe Waller-Bridge (“Fleabag”), Antonio Banderas (“Pain and Glory”), John Rhys-Davies (“Raiders of the Lost Ark”), Shaunette Renee Wilson (“Black Panther”), Thomas Kretschmann (“Das Boot”), Toby Jones (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), Boyd Holbrook (“Logan”), Oliver Richters (“Black Widow”), Ethann Isidore (“Mortel”) and Mads Mikkelsen (“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”).

Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original “Raiders of the Lost Ark” in 1981, is once again composing the score.
