“Passenger”at New York Comic Con 2024 Panel & Screening

New York Comic Con (NYCC) is just around the corner, and with it comes a wave of exciting panels and screenings. Among the must-see events is the “Passenger: Screening & Panel” taking place on Thursday, October 17th, at 6:30 PM in Room 409. This is your chance to get an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated BritBox International series, “Passenger,” before it premieres to the public.  

“Passenger” Lands at New York Comic Con 2024

This chilling new thriller, set in the fictional northern town of Chadder Vale, explores the dark side of a close-knit community grappling with change and fear of the unknown. When a local girl, Katie Wells, mysteriously disappears and reappears seemingly unharmed, former Met Police Detective Riya Ajunwa (Wunmi Mosaku) senses something sinister lurking beneath the surface. As a series of bizarre crimes unfold, Riya finds herself battling the town’s resistance to her investigations and their tendency to blame outsiders for their troubles.

Get ready for an exclusive first look at the premiere episode of “Passenger” at NYCC 2024! Specifically, join us for a special screening and panel discussion featuring the show’s writer and star, Andrew Buchan (“Broadchurch,” “The Honourable Woman,” “Better”), along with fellow cast members Barry Sloane (“Six,” “Revenge,” “Longmire”) and Wunmi Mosaku (“Loki,” “His House,” “Lovecraft Country”).

Furthermore, this is your chance to go behind the scenes and hear firsthand about the inspiration and creative process behind this gripping new thriller. In addition, the cast and creators will also be answering audience questions, so come prepared!

New York Comic Con (NYCC) is a massive annual fan convention held in New York City. Essentially, it’s a celebration of all things pop culture. From comics and graphic novels to anime, manga, video games, movies, and television, NYCC has something for everyone. Furthermore, attendees can explore a huge marketplace of vendors selling collectibles, toys, and art. They can meet their favorite comic book artists and writers in Artist Alley.

Of course, no Comic-Con experience would be complete without cosplay! NYCC features a massive cosplay masquerade where attendees can show off their incredible costumes. In addition to the exhibit hall and Artist Alley, NYCC offers a variety of panels and screenings. With over 200,000 attendees in 2022, it’s North America’s largest fan convention. Making it the perfect place for pop culture enthusiasts to connect and share their passions. This year, NYCC takes over the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from October 17-20.
