Red 5 Comics offers Comic-Con@Home 2021 exclusives

The most anticipated and highly regarded comic book convention has gone virtual for the second year in a row. In honor of the event, Red 5 Comics will offer Comic-Con @Home exclusive variants for upcoming series The Box, Verge, and Download.

Red 5 Comics will offer a selection of exclusives during the weekend of Comic-Con at home, available through its Comic-Con virtual exhibitor space or Red5Comics.com. In a press release, they told us that they have limited to 100 copies apiece and will offer Comic-Con only covers of its new series The Box #1, Verge #1, and Download #1.  These covers will only be available during the Comic-Con weekend.

According to their website, Red 5 creates and produces cinematic-style comic book entertainment. It earned the 2007 Gem Award for Best New Publisher and its titles have been nominated for three Eisner Awards and two Harvey Awards.
Red 5 Comics was founded by Paul Ens, former Director of Lucasfilm’s Lucas Online, and Scott Chitwood, co-founder of TheForce.net and writer for Superherohype.com and ComingSoon.Net. Published by Paul Ens, Scott Chitwood, Dave Zeibart, and Joshua Starnes.

Comic-Con International, a comics convention held annually in San Diego, known also as San Diego Comic-Con, posted all of their panels for Comic-Con @Home 2021 on youtube. Christina Harrington (managing editor, Aftershock Comics), James Haick (president, Scout Comics), Joshua Starnes (publisher, Red 5 Comics), and Travis McIntire (CEO, Source Point Press) discuss how independent comics publishers have been affected by the pandemic related changes to the comics industry and showcase their fantastic new books coming out this year.
