Characters ride velociraptor away from sand earthworm

‘Re:ZERO’ Season 4 Coming in 2026

Popular isekai and Crunchyroll award winner “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (“Re:ZERO”)” will receive a season four. Crunchyroll announced the news at its industry panel at Anime Expo this past weekend. The new season will premiere in 2026.

A teaser promotional video and poster feature Subaru and Beatrice riding on Subaru’s earth dragon Patrasche away from a sand earthworm. The trailer also features recurring characters such as twin maids Ram and Rem, Subaru’s love interest Emelia, Julius Juukulius and more.

Official Season 4 Synopsis

In the deadly battle at the Watergate City of Priestella, Subaru and his allies barely emerged victorious—but their triumph came at a great cost.

Through the “Authority of Gluttony,” Rem remains in an unending sleep, while Crusch’s memories and even Julius’s name were devoured.

As he searches for a way to save them, Subaru learns of the “wise man” Shaula—an all-seeing being said to possess every form of knowledge.

His next destination is the Pleiades Watchtower, home to a wise man, the farthest tower standing in the vast, uncharted desert known as the Auguria Dunes—a place so perilous that even the mightiest “Sword Saint,” Reinhard, failed to conquer it.

The fury of nature, unknown mabeasts, and unimaginable dangers lie ahead.

Together with his friends, Subaru embarks on a life-risking journey to reclaim what was lost.

About Re:ZERO

“Re:ZERO” follows Subaru Natsuki, a social recluse who was transported to another world on his way back from a convenience store. In this world, he runs into Emelia, a half-elf who is a candidate to become the Kingdom of Lugunica’s next ruler.

Subaru finds out that he can rewind time upon his death and uses these powers to protect Emelia and his new friends.

Catch up on the first three seasons on Crunchyroll.
