Prime Video’s sci-fi comedy Upload is set to conclude with a high-stakes, four-part finale. Robbie Amell and Kevin Bigley on Upload Finale at San Diego Comic-Con
Actors Robbie Amell and Kevin Bigley shared their feelings about the fourth and final season of Upload. Robbie Amell (Nathan) was glad the show concluded properly and with closure. Kevin Bigley (Luke) found the experience very emotional.
Robbie Amell: The concern was not getting a proper series finale, knowing that there was an ending made things easier. Many shows do not get that opportunity. While it was sad to let go of something the cast loved, they were lucky to have an ending.
Kevin Bigley: It was very emotional, especially because most shows do not know they are ending when shooting the final scenes, so getting that heads-up was a gift. It felt like a “living funeral” in a way—saying goodbye as it’s happening. The cast is still slowly mourning it as they do press, but it’s also a joyous feeling. Reading the final episodes it made so much sense. The ending feels poetic and true to the show, with no weird tone shifts.

Beyond the virtual dangers, the series also tackles corporate greed and complex personal relationships. Nathan (Robbie Amell) and Nora (Andy Allo) will be tested like never before, dealing with both virtual and real-life heartbreak. To save humanity from deletion, the characters must put aside their differences and team up one last time.

The final four episodes, released on August 25, conclude an arc that began with Nathan’s mysterious death and upload to Lakeview, where he formed a connection with his living “angel,” Nora. With the sentient AI’s rise to power, the finale is packed with unforgettable moments, including a heroic sacrifice by Lakeview resident Luke (Kevin Bigley).
The series also stars Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy. Daniels serves as executive producer alongside Howard Klein and Maxwell Vivian.
The four-part finale event for Upload is available to stream now on Prime Video.
