Movie review site, Rotten Tomatoes is in the process of implementing changes to their website. Moving forward, users will not be able to comment on a film prior to the film’s release. This new change should prevent users from posting negative reviews about a movie prior to it being released to give it a false score.
This move came shortly after Internet Trolls started to comment on Captain Marvel’s Rotten Tomatoes page and giving it negative feedback. This “Review-Bombing” was to purposefully lower the film’s Audience Rating. As a result, the film is currently the lowest-rated MCU film on the website.
Shazam! Star Zachary Levi decided to confront the trolls head in an Instagram video where he tells people that “This is not helping anyone or anything.”
Here’s @ZacharyLevi asking fans to stop piting #CaptainMarvel and #Shazam against each other, because IT ISN’T HELPING ANYONE. He’s also calling out the fake reviews and fabricated/defamatory posts about @brielarson. —It’s time for those people to really listen. pic.twitter.com/SzL0iowj5T

Currently, if you head to the Rotten Tomatoes website, you will now see that the ‘Want to See’ percentage score has been changed to just a number. Rotten Tomatoes states that additional changes to the site’s reviewing and filtering systems will possibly come later this year.
Sylvester Stallone is bringing John Rambo back out of retirement. The Hollywood Reporter reported? Did that sound weird? That Rambo: Last Blood is set to hit theaters on September 20th 2019. This will be Sly’s final performance as John Rambo in this fifth installment of this franchise.
In this film, Rambo will be searching for a friend’s daughter who has been kidnapped and brought across the U.S. – Mexico border. Rambo will be fighting a different war as he takes on one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Serigo Peris-Mencheta will be playing Hugo Martinez, the leader of the cartel and the main protagonist of the film. He will be joined by Yvette Monreal as the daughter of Rambo’s friend and Paz Vega as Carmen Delgado, a reporter who teams up with Rambo to search for her kidnapped half-sister.
You can keep up with teases of the film by following Sylvester Stallone’s Instagram page. He has been posting little nuggets of information like Rambo’s new look. With the film being released this fall, we should expect to see a trailer in the coming months.
