Funko’s Bitty Pop Takes Over San Diego Comic Con with Tiny Trinkets and Big Ideas

At San Diego Comic Con 2025, Funko’s Bitty Pop is proving that big fun can come in small packages. The brand, which shrinks Funko Pops down to one-inch collectibles, debuted a new line of exclusives and products. From a new Marvel collaboration to a customizable city-building system, Bitty Pop is expanding its universe.

The Bitty Pop main line features four-packs with a variety of licenses, including Marvel, Hello Kitty, and Star Wars. At SDCC, two exclusive four-packs were the stars of the Bitty Pop booth: a new movie tie-in with Marvel’s “Fantastic Four: First Steps” and an exclusive “Funko Fan Force” set. The Funko Fan Force characters, Freddy and Franny Funko, have been reimagined as anime-style figures, including a Mecha Freddy. These limited-edition exclusives were only available at the convention, making them a must-have for attendees.

The Bitty Pop Exclusives Are Exciting Funko Fans

The “Fantastic Four: First Steps” four-pack was an instant hit with fans before the convention even started. We were there on preview night and spoke to Funko executives who relayed that fans were “loving them.” Fans were “coming in and asking for” the Fantastic Four set, even before the first day of SDCC. Funko’s partnership with Marvel was timed for the release of the highly anticipated film.

Beyond the individual collectibles, Bitty Pop also debuted “Bitty Cities” at SDCC. This allows fans to create their own city universe and combine all their fandoms into one sprawling tiny town. The line launced at the con with two starter packs: the “Bitty City Land Starter Pack.” This includes Mayor Freddy, and the “Bitty City Road Starter Pack,” which comes with Firewoman Franny. The Bitty Cities are designed for all ages, giving fans a space where they can make different towns with pieces from multiple franchises.

Funko Introduces New Ways to Display Your Bitty Pop Collection

To make the expansion of the Bitty Pop line even more exciting, Funko introduced several new products. These include countdown calendars, where each day of a chosen month reveals a new Bitty Pop or accessory.

Another exciting new product is “Bitty Boxes,” which are display sets that mimic a full-size Funko Pop box when closed. When opened, they reveal a playset for Bitty Pops to be displayed inside. The “Stranger Things” Bitty Box, for example, features Will in the Upside Down, just like in the show. These display sets show Funko’s continued commitment to creating fun and unique experiences for their collectors.

With these new releases, Funko promised that this is just the beginning, with more new Bitty Pop announcements coming soon. The brand is only growing, with many more things to come later this year and into next year.
