SBIFF: Variety Artisans Awards Celebrates Everyone from Barbie Songwriter Billie Eilish to Oppenheimer Editor

Fans gathered on a sunny Sunday morning to honor the eleven artists chosen by Variety and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) to receive Artisan awards. The awards honor the best work behind the camera, and this year’s Artisans were essential to bringing the biggest movies to life. Spanning visual effects to costume design to music, the majority of the recipients are also Oscar nominees.

The most recognizable of the honorees were Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas. The pair came to receive their award for writing and performing the song “What Was I Made For?” in BARBIE.
