Next in the line of DC Comics based TV shows is a live-action adaptation of Teen Titans. Set to come out later this year, the new TITANS series is going in a much darker direction that the much maligned Teen Titans Go. Will such a change breathe new life into the characters or go too far in the opposite direction? See for yourself.
Breakdown
Hoo boy. There’s a lot to take in here. They have certainly taken several of the characters in very different directions that I can’t say I like. The code of no killing seems to have gone out the window and the effects people took Starfire’s name a bit too literally. I don’t want to be too negative yet, as the show has yet to premiere, but I’m not keeping my hopes up. What do the fans think?
