Silent Hill 2 Remake extended gameplay deep dive

This longer look delves into the game’s signature claustrophobic atmosphere, terrifying enemies, and immersive sound design that should satiate many horror fans. The over-the-shoulder perspective brings a new gameplay layer, as combat is similar to that of Alan Wake 2. Protagonist James Sunderlands fights his way through the cursed town and takes on creepy nurse-monsters, so it appears to be a faithful recreation of the original’s narrative and tone, with modern gameplay improvements and quality of life features.

Return to Silent Hill movie

The third in the film franchise, Return to Silent Hill aims to be a an adaption of the Silent Hill 2 story, with Jeremy Irvine playing James Sunderland. We got a bit of behind the scenes footage from the stream, but no release date has been confirmed.
