‘Sk8 the Infinity’ Season 2 and OVA officially announced

We can hardly contain our excitement over news of the Sk8 the Infinity season 2 and OVA! During the Sk8 week event in Okinawan, Japan, the Sk8 Project team made this announcement. The main staff, including director Hiroko Otsumi, will be returning for both.

Sk8 the Infinity is an original anime that aired in 2021. It follows a second-year high school student named Reki Kyan and his love for skateboarding. Reki meets Langa Hasegawa, a transfer student, and teaches him how much fun skateboarding is. Together they spend their evenings with their friends at a secret skateboard event called “S,” in an abandoned mine, where there are no rules.

Now, we look forward to a second season and an original video animation (OVA). Because this is an original anime with no manga to follow, anything is possible. And that is an exciting thought!

As of right now, we do not have any more details aside from this announcement. However, fans around the world have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms to express their excitement, thoughts, and feelings.

Fans are not the only ones excited about this news. The English dub voice actors have also expressed that they look forward to Sk8 the Infinity season 2! Daman Mills, the English dub actor for Cherry Blossom, has tweeted quite a few times about how excited they are for these incredible characters to come back.

Jonah Scott, the English dub actor for Joe, also cannot contain his excitement.

David Wald, the English dub actor for ADAM, is also ready for season 2 and the OVA. David Wald won this year’s Crunchyroll Award for Best Voice Actor (English) Performance for his performance as ADAM in Sk8 the Infinity.
