WonderCon returned to the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend! Wondercon is the little sister convention to San Diego International Comic-Con. Comic-Con International is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, comics and related popular art forms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.
One of the big draws of WonderCon is the fan-organized meets up. Attendees dress up in cosplay and meet up to take group photos and interact with other cosplayers and other pop culture enthusiasts. Most group meetups are organized over facebook events and information about the events is circulated by cosplayers on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter and word of mouth at the actual convention.
On Friday Mach 29th Spider-Man & Spider-Verse cosplayers gathered at WonderCon 2019 for such an event to celebrate all the different Spiderman Universes.
