Tales of Fablecraft to hit Early Access on Steam on July 23

The cooperative virtual tabletop RPG is rolling onto Steam Early Access on July 23rd. Riftweaver’s Tales of Fablecraft announcement came alongside a release date trailer celebrating any RPG’s most crucial — albeit challenging — aspect: survival.

Adventures Wanted. Experience Optional.

Players can now experience gameplay through classic pen and paper, remote, or both! Tales of Fablecraft takes care of skill checks, math, and dice rolls to preserve the immersion for the players, leaving all the excitement of a natural twenty for the table. The GM Guide assists GMs of any level in leading a successful and enjoyable adventure with minimal preparation.

Upon the game’s release, players can download and play the entire Road to the Starfall Festival Adventure for free. Players will have the choice to buy extra premium adventures, dice skins, and player token skins. More Adventures will become available for purchase in the future. In the meantime, GMs can craft their own homebrew adventures for their players. Later this year, Tales of Fablecraft will support Android and iOS tablets. Riftweaver also stated that they aim to introduce mobile device compatibility by 2025, offering players additional ways to immerse themselves in the enchanting adventure. Until then, be sure to add Tales of Fablecraft to the Steam Wish List!
