San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is one of the biggest pop culture events of the year. From TV shows and movies, to comic books and manga, there are a lot of announcements and sneak peeks that are headed our way soon. The schedule for the entire weekend has now been released. There are a lot of new projects on the horizon that are sure to keep fans of all kinds busy for at least the rest of the year. Here is your list of television and film exclusives at SDCC for 2024.
Television and Film Exclusives at SDCC
Thursday
Paramount Animation and Hasbro Entertainment will be talking Transformers One with the cast as well as show some exclusive footage.
“Will Wight’s Cradle is Becoming an Animated Series” will be having their panel with some of the actors. The author himself and the actors will also present you with an exclusive first look.
That brings us to Peacock’s new series, Teacup. The executive producers will be presenting exclusive footage of the new horror series about a terrifying tale following a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat in order to survive.
The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie was a hit, and thus Paramount+ has picked it up for a new animated series. This series will be presented at SDCC. The creators and voice actors will give the audience a sneak peek at the new series.
Closing out the day, Venus is coming to Prime Video. Jonathan Frakes will be joined by some of the creative team to talk about the new series.
Friday
Adult Swim has a new animated series on deck, Common Side Effects. The new series is a comedic thriller and will be presented and discussed by the creators and the voice cast.
Another animated series is coming to your small screens soon. The Great North will be getting an exclusive behind the scenes look with the creators and executive producers.
Bella Thorne and the producers of The Tower are getting together for a talk about independent filmmaking and offering a first look at the upcoming film.
Saturday
Legion M presents The Man in the White Van. This panel will present the cast, the theatrical trailer, some clips from the film, and behind the scenes knowledge of the making of this film.
It’s not just novels and comics getting on screen adaptations. Infinity, a tabletop wargame, is coming to animation. The directors, producers, and actors will be discussing the series. Attendees will be getting an exclusive mini-figurine.
Last but not least, the world premiere of the Caped Crusader, followed by a Q&A, will be making its way to SDCC.
SDCC attendees are in for a lot of new announcements and exclusive looks. Furthermore, fans everywhere are going to have plenty to plan for and look forward to as the year goes on.
