As Marvel Studios’ television series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier draws closer to its finale, Aaron and Alxendra discuss their thoughts on the show, explore the themes presented in the show and generally geek out! Actors Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan have reprised their roles as Sam Wilson “The Falcon” and Bucky Barnes “The Winter Soldier” from the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. They team up together now on an epic mini-series adventure that takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Many of the themes presented in this series are that of racism, nationalism, and the ideas and moral identity we encounter in our real life. Alexandra and Aaron dig deep into these topics and more.

About Our Hosts

Alexandra is the current host and brainchild behind the CosLifeHAQ podcast.  An engineer by day and a cosplayer in whatever free time she musters, she’s a transplant from North Carolina that, while still new, has thrown herself headfirst into the cosplay community.  Her fandoms include Marvel, the Alien Anthology, and Disneyland. She usually can be found hiding from the sun in the Southern California pop culture and comic book convention scene. You can check out some of her work here.
