L.A. Comic Con returned to its full-scale in-person event this past weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center and with it the incredible cosplay.
This year, attendees were treated to main stage special guests that included Zachary Levi, Ming-Na Wen, Giancarlo Esposito, Bruce Campbell, Nichelle Nichols, Tom Kenny, Tom Welling, and many more. Also with it came the return of cosplayers. Although the convention felt much smaller than it had in previous years, there was still plenty of cosplay to be seen. Check out our gallery of the cosplay from L.A. Comic Con 2021.
The term cosplay is a play on the words “Costume” and “Play.” It is a popular form of expression at most comic book conventions. Attendees dress up as their favorite characters from pop culture and attend the conventions in full dress-up. Cosplay can consist of simple themed outfits, Halloween costumes, or elaborate homemade designs.
