“The Boys” Season 3
The Boys is a look at what the world would really look like if Superheroes were real. Where they are treated more like celebrities, it looks at what their influences in politics would be, and the different ways they could abuse that power. And it follows the story of a Vigilante group The Boys, who try to keep the superheroes in check. The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
Season Three takes place a year after the events of Season Two. And for the most part, Homelander is under control. However, Butcher is still on the hunt for supes as part of his new job with the government. This means he is working directly under his former protege Hughie. And Hughie is working for Victoria Neuman. A Supe disguised as a politician. When The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, which sends them crashing into the Seven, and has them chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy. Starlight attempts to work alongside The Boys to keep Homelander subdued and reconnects with an old friend, Super Sonic. Meanwhile, the Deep and A-train are hard at work trying to redeem themselves as worthy of being part of the superhero group, The Seven.
Season Three of The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles.
Chace Crawford
This season The Deep, played by Chace Crawford, is back as a member of The Seven after being kicked out for assaulting Starlight in the first season. Last season he was attempting to redeem himself. And so this season, with the help of his enthusiastic wife, he’s working hard to prove himself worthy of being part of the 7. During our interview, he chatted with us about the things that The Deep goes through that made it hard to sleep at night.
Claudia Doumit
Claudia Doumit plays Victoria Neuman a congresswoman who in the second season was out to hold Vought and Supes accountable and keep them from being in the military. However, in the season finale, it was revealed that she was a head-popping Supe herself. In this third season, we find one of our series protagonists, Hughie, working for her and unaware of her powers.
