This Week In Geek – Avengers: Endgame Synopsis And The Horror!!

Fans who have been clamoring at the bits for information regarding the upcoming movie Avengers: Endgame, were treated to an official synopsis from the theater website Vue Entertainment. If you search for the movie you are treated with this bit of information regarding the film.

Following the devastating events caused by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining members of earth’s mightiest team of heroes must regroup in Avengers: Endgame.

Okay, not really Earth-shattering information but then you click the Read the full synopsis link and OH MY!!!

Things on earth are looking dismal. After the power of the infinity stones decimated half of the population, Thanos (Josh Brolin) has left the Avengers in ruin.

So, with no time to mourn their losses, Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) must remain resilient and rally the remaining members of earth’s mightiest heroes – and call on the services of Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).

Together, they must to figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies and defeat the Mad Titan, or suffer a hopeless existence…

Scarlett Johansson (Isle of Dogs), Josh Brolin (Deadpool 2), Robert Downey Jr (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Chris Evans (Gifted), and Chris Hemsworth (Bad Times at the El Royale) star in Avengers: Endgame, the final chapter in a culmination of a decade of Marvel blockbusters, and one not to be missed.

If this synopsis is, in fact, the real deal, and there is a slim possibility that it may just be a place holder, then that means setting themselves up for some deaths. This makes sense when you see how dreary the second is. Reading this gets me even more excited and is making these next two months even more grueling.

Avengers: Endgame is hitting theaters April 26th 2019

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards aired this past Sunday night on CBS. During one of the commercial breaks, Disney dropped a teaser to their upcoming Aladdin film. The teaser looked great and finally gave us a glimpse of what Will Smith will look like as the Genie.

That, my friends, was not a joke, that was the actual look of the Genie and it caused the internet to lose their collective s***! Fans took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the new look. Here are a few examples.

Frann, we may never know. In all seriousness, this footage is probably from early stages of the CGI process. I know when this picture hits the big screens this May it won’t look anything like.

Speaking of Disney, we got another teaser trailer this week and this one has not scared people to death as far as we know. Ladies and Gentlemen, here is our first official look at Frozen II. Now while the trailer does not reveal practically anything in the way of the story, but we can get an idea of what this film will be about thanks to the magic of the internet. If you browse over to IMDB.com, you will see that there is a brief Synopsis that reads “Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf are going far in the forest to know the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom.”

No major plot points are revealed but we do get a sense that this film will be larger in scope than the first one. Let us know any theories you might have about the plot in the comments below. We would love to hear them.
