Wal-Mart is upping their nostalgia game by nabbing the exclusivity rights to the Transformers Vintage G1 collection. Announced so far are Hot-Rod, Starscream, Devastator, Tailgate, Outback, Bumblebee, and Swerve. These figures will be made using “the original production tooling including die-cast parts and classic heat-sensitive stickers.” The packaging will also recreate the original 1984 deco and designs. There does appear to be some slight re-tooling of the some of the figures like Bumblebee’s new face and Starscream being included with a scaled Megatron pistol that he can hold!
