New Warframe: Whispers in the Walls details, TennoCon 2024, and more announced by developer Digital Extremes.
Taking place before the Game Awards, Digital Extremes held a press event announcing a wide variety of updates for Warframe, mainly surrounding their upcoming expansion Whispers in the Walls, and dates for TennoCon 2024. Whispers in the Walls is the game’s next big narrative expansion and will introduce new features, mechanics, and quality-of-life updates like cross-platform saves. Play it when it releases December 12, 2023.
The Game Awards’ Best Performance nominees Neil Newbon (Astarion, Baldur’s Gate III) and Ben Starr (Clive, Final Fantasy XVI) join the cast as Fibonacci and Arthur, respectively. Details are hush-hush on Newbon’s Fibonacci, who is the leader of the new Cavia Syndicate in Whispers in the Walls. Starr’s Arthur is a character who was previously announced during TennoCon 2023 when the expansion was first revealed. Arthur will also be in Warframe: 1999, coming next year.
With Neil Newbon’s win for Best Performance at the Game Awards, the actor is sure to deliver another captivating performance.
Additionally, dates for Warframe‘s fan-focused event TennoCon were announced. Fans can look forward to the convention taking place July 19th and 20th in London, Ontario, Canada at RBC Place London. More details regarding ticket sales have yet to be announced. Last year’s show saw the announcement of Whispers in the Walls, so 2024’s should have equally exciting announcements.
