Winners from the 6th Annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards

Crunchyroll has announced the winners of their sixth annual Anime Awards. These awards honor the fan-favorite and best-in-class anime series, characters, and creators across several streaming services.

Almost 17 million votes were cast this year from fans in the U.S. to Saint Helena island! The Crunchyroll Anime Awards is a time to celebrate the best and brightest in Japanese animation and voice acting. Votes came in from fans in more than 200 countries and territories. The highest engagement came from Brazil, France, Mexico, United Kingdom and the United States. India was also included in the top 10 countries for the first time, with Argentina, Canada, Chile and Germany, also showing strong support for their favorite anime!

“Best Boy” this year goes to Bojji from the anime Ranking of Kings.

The “Best Girl” award went to Nobara Kugisaki from JUJUTSU KAISEN (cour 2)

Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1 was voted Best Antagonist.

The Best Fight Scene award goes to Yuji Itadori and Aoi Todo VS Hanami from JUJUTSU KAISEN (cour 2).

Baku Kinoshita receives Best Director for ODDTAXI.

Best Animation goes to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc.

The Best Romance award went to Horimiya.

The anime Best Film award went to Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train.

Yuki Kaji, the Japanese voice actor for Eren Jaeger in Attack on Titan Final Season Part 1, won Best VA Performance (Japanese).

David Wald, the English voice actor for Ainosuke Shindo/”ADAM” from SK8 The Infinity, won Best VA Performance (English).
