Posted by

Colossus Con is coming to Pleasanton, California this Saturday April 8th, 2017. There is going to be a lot going on at this convention and Temple of Geek is here to give you a head start. Back in January, I got to speak with Julie Dolan and asked her 10 questions so fans could get to know her. This time, I caught up with Ms. Dolan again and asked her about 5 facts that fans could know before they meet her this Saturday.

On voicing Leia-

“Since I don’t usually get a script ahead of time and may not know the exact project I will be working on. When I go into the studio, sometimes I have no idea which age of Leia I will be playing.”

On attending cons-

“I’ve only attending one so far. I have several booked this year. The costumes are amazing. I did not really know what Cosplay was until I saw it with my own eyes.”

On playing in her band-

“I play keyboards in a few Tribute Bands and Cover Bands. I’ve been playing piano since I was 9 so I thought I’d see if I could make a career of it. I’ve traveled in and out of the country doing what I love to do playing music.”

On meeting fans-

“I was blown away at how quickly I was accepted into the Star Wars Family by the fans. They are so generous and welcoming. It’s like meeting family members. I am so looking forward to meeting some more fans at Colossus Con!”

On hobbies-

“Playing my keyboards. Music – Music – Music! Oh and scuba diving in Hawaii!”
