‘For The Love Of’ is a clothing brand that celebrates their creator’s love of Disney! They are a small business established in 2017 and one of our favorite Etsy finds. Their designers have come up with some clever nods to some of our favorite Disney Films. We took a few of their designs out for a spin this week!
Trash Panda Dad Hat &Â Spotted Devil Snapback
The Trash Panda Dad Hat plays tribute to Rocket Raccoon from the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise. It’s adjustable, comfortable and subtle! All of which are perfect for a day out at the park! The Spotted Devil Snapback is also adjustable. We are loving the Cruella de Vil vibes! That red button at the top is perfect! These hat are perfect for you Disney Bound Outfit of the day or just as part of you everyday wardrobe!
2319 Tank
The 2319 Tank was definitely one of our favorite pieces from their collection. If you aren’t familiar with what “We have a 2319” means , let me explain. In the Pixar Movie “Monsters Inc.”, a 2319 is code for a foreign object from the human world or a child that has contaminated the Monster’s world. In the movie a special hazard team is dispatched to decontaminate the area. In once scene from the movie, a child’s sock is seen on the shoulder of one of the Monsters.
The tank top is super cute and super comfortable! It runs big. The size small fit both our models who normally wear a US Medium and a US Large. This style of tank is meant to be baggy and hangs low. Best if worn with a bralette or camisole underneath. The screen print is clear and looks great. We ran it through the wash and it didn’t shirk or fade. Our favorite part about this top was when we wore it to Disneyland and California Adventure. The reaction from the cast members at both parks was priceless. It was nice that people both recognized the shirt and reacted positively to it.
Street Rat Baseball Tee
How cool is this Aladdin inspired Baseball tee? So great! The shirt is subtle in it’s design but shouts “serious Disney Fan”! The Street Rat Baseball Tee is perfect for Disney Bounding! The colors and the screen printing on the shirt and bright and vibrant. The bottom point of V-neck was a little off centered, but nothing too noticeable. We love the Street Rat call out on the Jersey Numbers. The shirt seems to run pretty true to size. But as always we recommend you check the size chart before ordering. The thing that we liked most about this tee was that it wasn’t a basic T-shirt. The stripped sleeves and the v-neck give you a lot more style than your typical t-shirt.
Overall
Like we stated earlier, this brand is definitely one of our favorite Etsy finds. We are big fans of the subtle and clever brands and these guys nailed it! I am even more excited to hear that they are coming out with a nostalgic 90’s cartoon collection!
