We’ve survived the first month of 2026 and are now into the month of love. Whether a partner, a friend, a family member, or even some good old self-love; there are some great games to be gifted (or added to your own backlog). This year is shaping up to be a big one for games, and these are some in the near future we are really looking forward to finally checking out.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined

But quiet it does not stay for long as you and your childhood friend stumble upon the Shrine of Mysteries and are whisked back in time. Suddenly that sleepy life is swapped out for having to save the world and everything you know and love. This game is featuring physical and digital versions as well as a digital deluxe and collector’s edition. The digital deluxe gives players a full 48-hours sooner to access the game as well as cosmetics and DLC sets. The collector’s edition features an adorable Slime, SteelBook, an incredible Ship in a Bottle, as well as the cosmetics and DLC sets featured in the digital deluxe version.

Instead of stepping into his new role, he must instead contend with this violent force, including transcending time itself by ways of his guardian spirit, Kusanagi. There are several editions available including the Early Purchase Bonus which gives players the Hellfrost Equipment Set as well as two other full-armor pieces. The digital deluxe edition offers two DLC add-ons via the season pass, an in-game accessory as well as bonus weapons.
