Marvel returns at NYCC 2026! New York Comic Con celebrates their 20th anniversary this year, and Marvel is a big part of that. Fans of both the comics and on-screen stories have a lot to look forward to. Let’s take a look at panels, meetups, guests, and other events that Marvel fans will want to check out October 8-11, 2026.
Marvel NYCC 2026 Panels
Marvel is bringing a lot of official panels to NYCC this year, especially for comics news. Plus, fan-run panels discussing all manner of topics related to Marvel and other comics are on offer too.
Thursday, October 8th
Marvel Across Generations: Reinventing Heroes, Worlds, and Legacies kicks things off from 11am-11:45am in Room 1B02. Paul Levitz and Stuart Moore, authors from the “Marvel Age of Comics” series guest on this panel. They will discuss the history of Marvel comics and how the stories of their well-known heroes have evolved over the years.
Levitz and Moore will also participate in a post-panel book signing. This will take place from 12pm-12:45pm in Hall 1A: Author Signing Tables. Books will be available for purchase at the Barnes & Noble Union Square tables nearby.
The big-ticket event for Marvel fans at NYCC 2026 is on Thursday, too. Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation returns from last year’s event! Taking place from 4:15pm-5:45pm on the Empire Stage, this is a can’t miss event for MCU fans.
The first episodes of “VisionQuest” releases on Disney+ the week after this NYCC. This was the only live-action TV project discussed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, so fans can expect updates on other projects here, too. Expect news on “Daredevil: Born Again”, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”, and “X-Men ’97” among possible others.
Thursday Evening
Taking place later in the evening on Thursday is Deconstructing Wolverine. From 4:45pm-5:30pm in North-Room 406.1, comics writer Benjamin Percy and Popverse staff writer Jules Chin Greene will discuss all things Wolverine. The pair will also dive into other characters in his family such as Laura and Akihiro.
The Year of Jack Kirby: A Star-Studded Celebration rounds out the Marvel panel offerings on Thursday. This panel will take place from 5:45pm-6:30pm in North-Room 408. Kirby family members and comic industry pros will gather to celebrate the legacy of Marvel’s co-creator Jack “The King” Kirby. Fans attending this panel will also get to see the world premier of the “Kirbyvision” documentary trailer.
For one final event on Thursday, though: a Guinness World Record attempt! Marvel and Jazwares are teaming up to see if NYCC 2026 attendees can break the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Spider-Man. Spideys will start lining up at 6:30pm in the Main Stage Queue Hall with the official record attempt happening around 8pm. For more information, check out our article about this event.
Friday, October 9th
Marvel’s new Editor-in-Chief makes his NYCC debut in the role with Marvel Comics: Bullpen Bulletins! with Stephen Wacker. From 3:30pm-4:30pm in North-Room 405, this panel will bring comics fans first looks at what’s next for “the House of Ideas.” This will likely be a pretty broad overview of news from Marvel Comics as more specific panels are scheduled for the rest of NYCC 2026.
Next on Friday is Marvel Comics: The Midnight Hour from 5pm-6pm also in North-Room 405. This panel will dive into this new line of horror-inspired comics from Marvel. Titles include “Midnight Spider-Man”, “Midnight Fantastic Four” and “Midnight X-Men”. Fans will get first looks at new art from these stories and find out what’s next for the “Midnights” run.
Saturday, October 10
Though not specifically and only Marvel, fans may want to check out the Spotlight on Nicolas Cage from 11am-12pm on the Empire Stage. Cage has appeared in many projects over the years, of course. But Marvel fans know him in part from his role as Spider-Noir. He has both voiced the character in the “Spiderverse” movies and played him in the live-action “Spider-Noir” series for MGM+ and Prime Video. Longtime fans also know that he was the original Johnny Blaze in both the 2007 and 2011 “Ghost Rider” movies.
Next will be Marvel Comics: The Spider-Web from 3:30pm-4:30pm in North-Room 405. With “Amazing Spider-Man #1000” releasing shortly before NYCC this year, the to-be-named guests on this panel will discuss what’s next for the Spider-heroes in the comics. Upcoming stories for Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and more will all be previewed. The panel’s description also promises “a major announcement that will turn their world upside down!”
Also for Spider-Man fans is Black Dog & Leventhal’s Spider-Man Total Universe Panel. From 3:45pm-4:30pm in Room 1C03, pop culture historian Patrick A. Reed and Spider-Man comics creators will dive into the history of arguably Marvel’s most famous character. The panel is inspired by Reed’s soon to be published book, “Spider-Man Total Universe”, charting the past six decades of Spider-Man.
Comics news continues in Marvel Comics: House of Ideas from 5pm-6pm in North-Room 405. After their “Midnights” and “Spider-Man” focused panels, panelists here will preview what else is next for Marvel. The description promises “world-defining events to breathtaking new series” and “wall-to-wall announcements, major reveals and more surprises you’ll never see coming!”
Sunday, October 11
Finally on Sunday, collectors can check out the Hasbro Star Wars & Marvel Panel. From 11am-11:45am in North-Room 406.3, Hasbro will be previewing upcoming entries in their Marvel Legends line. Fans will get to hear updates on already announced figures and be the first to see new products.
Cosplay Meetups
If you’re cosplaying a Marvel character (or several) you’ve got a few cosplay meetups to check out during NYCC weekend!
On Friday, October 9 is the “YERRR! Spider-Verse: Where Worlds Collide” meetup. This cosplay gathering for all Spider-People from across the multiverse will take place from 12pm-12:45pm at the South Concourse Cosplay Meetups area. This meetup is hosted by Shady Haze.
To me, my X-Men for a cosplay meetup on Saturday, October 10! The X-Men Meetup will take place from 12pm-12:45pm also at the South Concourse Cosplay Meetups area. LiliPopeCosplay, Num1xmncosplay, and SCPhotos8 will host this cosplay meetup.
Finally, Avengers Assemble Doomsday Meetup also take place on Saturday, October 10th. All Marvel characters are invited to this meetup from 4pm-4:45pm at the South Concourse Cosplay Meetups space. This meetup is hosted by Patrick Skye.
For those unfamiliar with the layout of the Javits, here is where the cosplay meetups are this year, circled in red. This will be on the same level that you enter the building on.
Marvel NYCC 2026 Show Floor & Activations
Marvel Studios will be back on the NYCC 2026 show floor! In years past, the Marvel booth has featured costumes and props from upcoming projects in the MCU. Fans will likely get peeks at “VisionQuest” and “Avengers: Doomsday” based on Marvel’s appearances at other cons this year.
Marvel also brings along photo ops and a screen showing clips and trailers from recent and upcoming projects- comics and on-screen. A selection of cosplay meetups and signings are also usually held at the Marvel booth, though as of publishing they have not announced their booth schedule. We will update this article when they do.
Marvel Studios has three locations listed on the NYCC website: Booth 2153, CP103, and RP1. Booth 2153 will be their presence on the main show floor, though it is currently less clear where the other two locations fall within the Javits center.
Also making a return to NYCC is Heroes & Villains‘ Marvel booth. This geek gear brand has partnered with Marvel in NYCCs past to bring fans unique and stylish fan fashion. Heroes & Villains has already posted a teaser of one of their collections for the event to Instagram: Doctor Doom.
In addition, the brand will have exclusive “tour” shirts for a different group of Marvel heroes every day of NYCC 2026. Thursday is the Fantastic Four, Friday the X-Men, Doctor Doom gets his own shit on Saturday, and Sunday they will have the Avengers. Marvel | Heroes & Villains will be right next door to the main Marvel booth at 2453.
