“Star Wars” is headed to D23 2026: The Disney Ultimate Fan Event! With looks at upcoming live-action and animated projects alike, there’s something for every “Star Wars” fan. Let’s take a look at the schedule so you don’t miss a single thing!

Star Wars D23 2026 Panels & Events

Friday, August 14

For cosplayers, the day kicks off at 9:45am-10:30am at the Grand Plaza. D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will host the Star Wars Cosplay Meetup at this time. Gather at the Grand Plaza Fountain outside the convention center in your “Star Wars” best.

While not only focused on the worlds of “Star Wars”, Disney Music Presents: The Art of the Score is a great panel for fans to check out. The panel will be held on the Walt Disney Archives Stage from 12:45pm-1:45pm. Composer Michael Giacchino will take attendees through his process of writing some of the most iconic scores. For “Star Wars” he has composed for “Rogue One”.

Friday evening at the Honda Center, those with Ultimate Fan Pass ticket types will get to enjoy the Disney Entertainment Showcase. Here, all corners of the company show off what’s next. At the 2024 event, fans got looks at “Skeleton Crew” and “The Mandalorian and Grogu.”

This year, “Star Wars” fans will likely get their very first look at the upcoming “Star Wars: Starfighter” starring Ryan Gosling. We may also get glimpses of the second seasons of both “Ahsoka” and “Maul- Shadow Lord”. However, it’s not overly likely that Lucasfilm will announce new projects as Star Wars Celebration takes place in early April next year.

Saturday, August 15

“Star Wars” fans at D23 2026 are in for a treat on Saturday with Lego Star Wars: The Mandalorian Early Screening. From 10am-11am on the Hyperion Stage, be among the first to see the newest Lego “Star Wars” project. Everyone else will have to wait until September 2nd to catch it on Disney+!

Saturday evening will see the Disney Experiences Showcase at the Honda Center from 7pm-9pm. This showcase focuses on news for the Disney Parks and a smattering of video game news. In 2024, “Star Wars” fans got their first look at the new mission for “Millennium Falcon-Smugglers Run”. In addition, they announecd “The Mandalorian” collaboration with Fortnite.

However, no current “Star Wars” projects are currently being worked on in any of the US Disney parks. There are a few possible announcements that could be made, though. Earlier this year, the timeline for “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” in Disneyland was expanded. Instead of the entire land being set between episodes 8 and 9, the land now features characters from across the timeline of movies and TV shows. This change may be coming to Walt Disney World as well.

If we get any news for “Star Wars” during the Experiences Showcase, video game news is more likely as there are several games in the works. “Star Wars: Zero Company” releases a few weeks after D23 with “Star Wars: Galactic Racer” shortly after. My personal hope is that we will get news on the third game in the “Jedi” series. The third and final installment in Cal Kestis’ story was confirmed in 2024 and remains unnamed.

Sunday, August 16

If you’re interested in getting a behind-the-scenes look into the making of a very cool “Star Wars” collectible is made, Sunday has the panel for you. The Force of Innovation- Hasbro’s Grogu Animatronic takes place on the Hyperion Stage from 10:45am-11:45am. The development team from Hasbro will discuss the making of the Grogu figure.

Also on Sunday, fans with access to the Honda Center presentations can see the Disney Legends Ceremony from 1:30pm-3:45pm. This ceremony is the Disney company’s highest honor, celebrating those who have made a huge impact in any and all areas of the company. For “Star Wars” fans, Alan Tudyk is one of the honorees this year. Though he has lent his voice to a huge variety of Disney projects over the years, “Star Wars” fans know him best as K-2SO in “Rogue One” and later “Andor”.

If you do not have a ticket for the Honda Center, a simulcast of the Legends Ceremony will be available on the Premiere Stage on Sunday as well.

Lucasfilm will once again have their own pavilion on the show floor. This will be a really fun stop for any “Star Wars” fan at D23 2026. Stop by to take photos and see props and costumes from past and future “Star Wars” projects. In addition, the pavilion will host a “Fireside Chat” multiple times each day. Each of these will feature creatives from “Star Wars” movies and TV shows, though exactly who will show up will be a surprise that weekend!

The Fireside Chat Lucasfilm events will use the reservation system. But fans have a chance to catch one of these every day of the event at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm.
