In this episode of the Temple of Geek Podcast non-horror fans, Aaron and Yvette Powell, discuss and review A Nightmare on Elm Street. Although Aaron and Yvette are both deep in the pop culture scene, scary movies are something they tend to stay away from. Reviewing Scary Movies Part One – Nightmare on Elm Street 

For the month of October and leading up to Halloween, Aaron and Yvette will be stepping outside of their comfort zone and revisiting classic and modern scary movies! They will discuss different scary movies starting with A Nightmare on Elm Street. 

A Nightmare on Elm Street is a 1984 American slasher film written and directed by Wes Craven. The film stars Heather Langenkamp, Johnny Depp, John Saxon, Ronee Blakley, Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger. The plot concerns four teenagers living on one street in the fictitious town of Springwood, Ohio who are invaded and killed in their dreams (and thus in reality) by Freddy Krueger. The film was released in November of 1984 and has become a cult classic.
