Unless we are surprised by a last-minute panel announcement it looks as if we won’t have a Doctor Who Hall H panel this year. So we’ve put together a list of “Doctor Who” events happening at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. If we missed any or you want to add your event, please email info@templeofgeek.com.
San Diego Comic-Con 2022
San Diego Comic Convention (Comic-Con International) is back after its pandemic-related hiatus. It will be returning to the San Diego Convention Center From July 21st to the 24th. Comic-Con is one of the largest pop culture events in the world and is part of the California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized for charitable purposes and dedicated to creating the general public’s awareness of and appreciation for comics and related popular art forms.
The con is completely sold out, so if you haven’t gotten one yet, we don’t recommend attempting to visit the con in 2022.

Hall H
Prepare to enter The Dreaming as the live-action adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s beloved DC comic series arrives in Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con. There is another world that awaits us when we close our eyes and sleep–a place called the Dreaming, where The Sandman, Master of Dreams (Tom Sturridge), gives shape to our deepest fears and fantasies. But when Dream is unexpectedly captured and held prisoner for a century, his absence sets off a series of events that will change both the dreaming and waking worlds forever. The Sandman is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of 10 epic chapters following Dream’s many adventures. Be among the first to find out what’s in store for the groundbreaking series, as well as some Comic-Con exclusives and surprises. This will be a special video presentation followed by a Q&A with series stars and producers. From Warner Bros. Television and based on the DC comic, season 1 of The Sandman debuts on August 5 on Netflix.
From transitional ages to transitional media, how do authors tell stories for changing readers in a changing world? Paul Cornell (Doctor Who, Three Little Wishes) , James Wright (Lupina), Simon Curtis (Witches of Silverlake), Kami Garcia (The Legion series, Teen Titans, Raven), Sina Grace (Iceman, Sensational Wonder Woman), and Shannon Watters (Lumberjanes, Hollow) discuss crafting stories for young readers, older readers, and everyone in between.
