My Hero Academia season 6 was announced to join the fall anime lineup on Crunchyroll in October. At Crunchyroll Expo, during the Behind the Scenes at BONES panel, BONES president Masahiko Minami, shared this news with panel attendees.
My Hero Academia Season 6
Izuku Midoriya has wanted nothing more than to be a hero. However, heroes in his world have special powers called “quirks,” and Midoriya was born without one. Through a series of events, Midoriya (also known as Deku) gains special powers called “One For All” and is now training to be a hero at the prestigious U.A. High School. Season 6 will bring an epic war between heroes and villains, with the young heroes-in-training at the forefront.
Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki are working together with the number 1 hero, Endeavor, for their work study. Deku now has a new power called “Blackwhip” that was hidden inside of him in One For All. While the heroes are training, the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki, are fighting against the Metahuman Liberation Army. The Metahuman Liberation Army is led by Re-Destro. Shigaraki takes control of the Metahuman Liberatoin Army and expands its influence. Now, he desires to use his incredibly dangerous powers to destroy everything in his path.
For manga readers, My Hero Academia season 6 will pick up roughly after chapter 257 in volume 26. Get ready for an intense battle between heroes and villains as well as an emotional ride as audiences watch their favorite characters fight for the good of the world!
Seasons 1 through 5 are available on Crunchyroll, both subbed and dubbed. Also, the newest OVAs are available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
