San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner. WEBTOON Entertainment, a global entertainment company and home to some of the world’s largest storytelling platforms, is returning to the San Diego Convention Center on July 23 through July 26, 2026, with a packed weekend of major content announcements, first looks, and conversations with incredible creators shaping the future of comics.
WEBTOON’s SDCC 2026 programming will celebrate and elevate some of the most exciting creators in webcomics. Major WEBTOON Creators Punko (Stagtown, Cinderella Boy), ROSEOAK (Not So Silent), and Derek V. Song (Fantasy High, The Primal Hunter) will take center stage, headlining a weekend of Creator-driven panels that celebrate the best in storytelling in the horror, fantasy, and romance genres.

Throughout the convention, WEBTOON is offering a variety of panels. Fans can look forward to exclusive giveaways, including exclusive early access to upcoming WEBTOON Unscrolled graphic novels.
Creature Craft: Visionaries of Horror Comics Share Their Secrets (Thursday, July 23 at 10:00 AM PT in Room 29AB):
This panel features Punko, creator of Stagtown and Cinderella Boy on WEBTOON; Cullen Bunn, creator of Ripcord and Deluge for Ignition Press; and Cat Staggs, co-creator of Death Mask, and artist on Tales for a HalloweeNight for Storm King Comics. Rotem Rusak, Editor-in-Chief at Nerdist, will moderate.
Love in Every Universe: The Great Romance Trope Debate (Friday, July 24 at 10:00 AM PT in Room 32AB):
Join ROSEOAK, creator of Not So Silent on WEBTOON, Alessandra Ferreri, Head of Content at Wattpad, E.M. Wilson, author of Situationship, and Becca Erin Title, founder of Meet Cute Romance Bookshop. The panel is moderated by Crystal Bell, the Culture Editor at Mashable.
Adapting Fantasy High for WEBTOON with Derek V. Song (Friday, July 24 at 1:00 PM PT in Room 32AB):
Featuring Derek V. Song, writer of Fantasy High. Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at adapting the beloved Dimension 20 series for WEBTOON and learn more about bringing the world of Fantasy High to a new visual format.

Featuring Ryan Lee, Head of Content at WEBTOON; Sydney Bright, Head of Global Animation at WEBTOON Productions; Erik Kozura, Producer at WEBTOON; ROSEOAK, creator of Not So Silent; Derek V. San Diego Comic-Con 2026 takes place from July 23 to July 26, 2026, with the highly anticipated Preview Night kicking things off on July 22, 2026. As always, the massive multi-genre pop culture event will take over the San Diego Convention Center.
If you are planning to attend, keep these crucial details in mind:
- Badges are Sold Out: Official badge registration for the 2026 event took place last fall and is completely sold out. If you don’t already have a ticket, you will need to rely on verified secondary markets.
- No Badge? No Problem! Even if you can’t get into the convention center floor to visit the Mondo booth, SDCC completely transforms the city. There are dozens of incredible offsite activations, interactive pop-ups, and free fan districts scattered around the nearby Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Park that require absolutely no badge to enjoy.
