Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, introduced Zoe Saldana (who plays Gamora) at Comic-Con Experience in Brazil, to debut the new trailer for the third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Disney and Marvel Studios were ever present to the fans in attendance in the city of São Paolo, Brazil for CCXP. Prior to CCXP, fans in attendance at San Diego Comic-Con, also held this year, were treated to initial glimpses into the next adventures of The Guardians as well as an exclusive sneak peek into bits and pieces of the film. Now fans everywhere can take a peek.
The Guardians Are Back With A New Trailer Debuted at CCXP in Brazil
In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” our beloved band of misfits is looking a bit different these days. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him to defend the universe along with protecting one of their own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
The release of this trailer comes on the heels of the recent release of Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special already available on Disney+. Not to spoil it for fans who have yet to watch the special presentation, but the ending of the holiday special may play a role in later stories to be told. Nonetheless, the trailer for Vol. 3 does tease the fans for what’s to come along with our first look at Will Poulter as Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji as The High Evolutionary. Although the trailer does not show Kraglin (played by Sean Gunn) and Cosmo (voiced by Maria Bakalova), they are cast as part of the film.
James Gunn, the writer, and director for Volume 3 has a penchant for tugging at the hearts of fans with the previous Guardians films, and this upcoming film will undoubtedly continue that tradition with the characters that fans have embraced from the past films.
Marvel Studios Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova. Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers.
