What’s In the Box?

Designed by Will Hindmarch (Gameplaywright, Hookseed Vol. 1) with additional design by Alex Roberts (Star Crossed: The Two-Player Game of Forbidden Love, For the Queen), gameplay lasts about an hour. It is perfect for smaller groups of people, game nights and even dates. Everything you need to get started comes in the box with purchase, enabling you to start right away! Equipped with three pre-made scenarios, 12 pre-made characters and 9 maps as backdrops for your duel! If the stakes aren’t quite high enough, then the box comes with a Drama Deck that provide you prompts to antagonize your rival, cause chaos, and so much more! The game retails for $39.99 USD, and is great for ages 14 +.

All you need are two players (and an optional facilitator), the box, and your imagination to play. You can create new characters and worlds on the spot, or you can use the ready made scenarios to jump right in! Till the Last Gasp can accommodate almost any setting or genre! You can even import characters from movies, film, or other storytelling games and media, At its heart, the game is two characters locked in conflict, discovering something deep at the root of it.

Thoughts On Till The Last Gasp

Till the Last Gasp makes for an awesome afternoon or rainy day game. Full of plot twists and some amazing PvP, the game leaves you wanting so much more. There’s no limit to what you can do; the premade scenarios are perfect for those that just want to play or, if you’re like me and prefer building your own story, it’s perfect for that, too! It’s a small taste of storytelling and could be the very beginnings to something even more epic. It’s easy to learn, action packed, and scratches that storytelling itch.
