Everyone watches movies, television shows, and play video games. However, very few fans of media actually know what goes on behind the scenes of the things that they love. What has to happen in order to bring these stories to life? WonderCon has fans covered, as there are so many panels dedicated to helping audiences take a peek behind the curtain.
Production Panels at WonderCon
The biggest day for WonderCon production junkies is on Saturday, with panels in room 213 CD. Attendees could essentially camp out and learn all of the industry tricks.
Saturday attendees get a panel on building a cinematic universe through props and set decoration. Arguably one of the most important parts of production, setting and use of props can very easily immerse you in a story or fully break the magic. So how do designers help create worlds?
Saturday also highlights the efforts of hair, makeup, and costume designers. Get a chance to hear creatives from Iron Claw, Loki, Ms. Marvel, and more talk about how they helped bring these projects to life and the importance of their contributions.
Also on Saturday, WonderCon is hosting the 2nd Annual Scene Breakdown: Behind the Camera of Television and Film. This panel allows audiences to hear from writers, editors, production designers, and more talk about what goes into creating individual scenes. How many things have to come together for your favorite scenes to happen?
And last but not least on Saturday there is also a designing sci-fi, horror, and drama in film and television panel. Sci-fi and horror projects require more visual effects then other genres. So, what is required to terrify audiences?
