San Diego Comic-Con attendees were treated to an exciting two-hour showcase of Peacock’s original series, “Those About to Die” and “Teacup.”
Teacup Premieres October 10th
Kicking off the event, Damian Holbrook, TV Guide Magazine’s Senior Writer, moderated a panel on Peacock’s upcoming horror series, TEACUP. Giving fans an exclusive sneak peek. Modern-day master of horror James Wan, an executive producer alongside Showrunner Ian McCulloch, and stars Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, and Chaske Spencer teased the chills, thrills, and gore audiences can expect. The panel closed with a new teaser announcing the premiere date of October 10th.
Behind the Scenes of Those About to Die
The excitement continued with a behind-the-scenes featurette and panel discussion for “Those About to Die,” moderated by Collider’s Perri Nemiroff. Director/executive producer Roland Emmerich and stars Iwan Rheon, Sara Martins, Moe Hashim, Jojo Macari, Dimitri Leonidas, and Gabriella Pession shared insights into the making of the gladiator epic. They spoke on everything from the stunt work to the visual effects that brought Ancient Rome to life.
Furthermore, adding to the immersive experience, the cast and creatives of “Those About to Die” got a firsthand taste of Ancient Rome. The “THOSE ABOUT TO DIE: THE CHARIOT RACE” activation was set up in the Gaslamp District during San Diego Comic-Con. This interactive exhibit will also host a live stream of the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 26th, from 10:30 AM to 3 PM PT.
