“Fangirling in the Face of Barriers” Panel
Barriers are aplenty when femme voices join the pop culture space, and these speakers are tired of being polite about the hurdles experienced every day in the workplace, decision-making spaces, and social media. The panel will bring together the host of the Portrait of a Fangirl podcast, Jenna Wrenn, along with other prominent femme voices from across the pop culture landscape. The discussion will delve into creation from a fangirl perspective, finding strength in negative comments, and actionable items for navigating uniquely femme struggles within the pop culture world. The panel will be moderated by Alix Galit, host of the Welcome Party Podcast and streamer.
