Alex Organ, Loid Forger, at “SPYxFAMILY CODE: White” Premiere

Crunchyroll hosted the SPYxFAMILY CODE: White premiere in Los Angeles. Among the celebrities and influencers on the red carpet was each of the main cast of voice actors. Alex Organ voices Loid Forger, who is also the secret agent “Twilight,” in the SPYxFAMILY series. We spoke with Organ about the film and his character.

Alex Organ Interview

Alex Organ is known for voicing Rene Simm (Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign) and Shin Hyuga Shaing (Code Geass: Akito the Exiled).

SPYxFAMILY CODE: White follows the Forger family on vacation. What starts out as a lovely family outing turns into a fight for world peace!

Organ expresses that he is excited for audiences to spend more time with the characters rather than the typical 22 minutes of runtime. He says, “It gives us a chance to to develop the characters a little deeper, to make them more human and more relatable. So I’m excited for people to see them in that light.”

We ask Organ how he relates to Loid.

“You know, Loid, at the end of the day, his skill set….he’s really, you could make an argument is [that] he’s an actor because he has to, you know, convince other people that he’s not, that he’s someone else with really high stakes, and that is also what I do as an actor. And so that was a kind of a nice way to connect with him initially. It was a nice in for him.”

About SPYxFAMILY

SpyxFamily is an anime based on the Shonen Jump manga of the same name. The Forger family is not what they seem. Agent Twilight is a spy tasked with a mission to bring peace to the east and western nations. In this mission, he must form a fake family in order to get close to his primary target. He adopts a young girl, Anya, who is actually a telepath. Then, he gets married out of convenience to a woman named Yor, who also needs to be married for the sake of her own job. Yor Forger, the fake wife of Loid Forger (Agent Twilight), is actually an assassin.

Anya is the only one in the Forger family who knows both of her parents’ true selves. The series follows their ups and downs of being a family as well as each of their fights for world peace.
