Temple of Geek was in attendance of several animation panels this Friday at SDCC 2017. The panels consisted of My Little Pony, Star and the Force of Evil, Milo Murphey’s Law, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Ducktales. Here are some blurbs of each of the panels.
We were treated to clips from the upcoming movie. We were also treated to the Liev Schrieber’s adorable children!
During the TMNT panel, we got to see a full episode of the new season that centered around the turtles as babies. The episode was told from the Master Splinter’s point of view. The creative team also showed off a lot of the artwork and creative process.
This panel consisted of live reading of a future episode. Once the live reading wrapped-up we were treated to a clip from that upcoming episode.
We got to feast our eyes on a teaser for the new season. Talk of a crossover episode with Phineas and Ferb was also mentioned during the panel.
Scenes from the show were shown to the audience we got our first look at opening theme song sequence. Concept art was revealed and some spoilers were dropped about who would make an appearance on the show! Can someone say “let’s get dangerous”? Darkwing Duck and Gizmoduck have been announced to show up on the show at some point. Enjoy one of the SDCC clips that was shown to the audience below!
Those were just brief blurbs from these panels. I for one am excited to see Darkwing Duck again on TV. Albeit a small cameo, it is still awesome! What are you excited to see? Sound off by commenting below!
