Anime fans gathered at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, CA for Anime Pasadena 2018. Anime Pasadena is a one-day event that is a celebration of all things anime and is put together by the folks over at Nerbot media. Nerdbot is also responsible for Nerdbot Con which is also held at the Pasadena Convention center each fall. Cosplayers of all genres descended on Anime Pasadena this weekend. Cosplay is a play on the words costume and roleplay! It’s when a person dresses up as a character from movies, television, or pop culture. It is similar to the idea of a Halloween costume but it’s something that happens all year long at conventions. Attendees at conventions dress in celebration of the characters they love. Many times drawing the attention of other con-goers and posing for photos.
