Anime Pasadena 2022 | Everything you need to know

Anime Pasadena 2022 is headed back to the Pasadena Convention Center! NERDBOT’s 4th annual Anime Pasadena will take place on November 19th and 20th. Here is just about everything you need to know before attending to make your time at the convention enjoyable.

This is an anime convention that will be packed with panels, special guests, cosplay meetups, artists, live music, and so much more.

The special guest list is filled with incredible English Dub voice actors from a variety of anime and animated shows. Here is a list of some of the guests that will be appearing:

Also, for the first time, Anime Pasadena is offering professional photo ops with the most of the celebrity guests. Tickets for photo ops are limited. Check the list, plan your cosplay or outfit, and purchase them ahead of time.

Panels and Cosplay Meetups

This year, the panels will be held inside the Civic Auditorium.

Panels range from fan-run panels to panels with the cast of various anime. Check out the list of panels here, and make sure to get in line early. Space is limited, and the panel rooms will be cleared after each panel ends.

Cosplay, or “costume play,” meetups are fan-made meetups for cosplayers to get together, take photos, and have a good time. Cosplay is in no way required to attend a convention. Anime Pasadena offers its guests a list of the scheduled meetups happening over the weekend. If you want to attend a meetup or submit a meetup for a specific fandom, then head to their website.

More Exciting Events

Along with the variety of guests, panels, and cosplay meetups, Anime Pasadena 2022 will also be hosting more exciting events.

There will be two cosplay contests. One will be for cosplayers 16 years old and older and will take place on Saturday the 19th. The second cosplay contest is for child cosplayers 15 years old and younger and will happen on Sunday the 20th. If you are interested in the cosplay contests, sign-ups are available at the convention.

After the convention on Saturday, adults 18 years old and older can enjoy an epic after party! Tickets for the after party are sold separately from the convention badges.
