To boldly go when no one has gone before is what we expect when we watch an episode or movie in the Star Trek Universe. Traversing the cosmos is not something that the Captains of starships can wrap-up in a single day. Over the last 50+ years, through various shows and movies, we have seen that the missions Starfleet officers go on are extensive, multi-year endeavors. Being a Captain of these missions means that they have a place to lay their heads at night to retreat from their duties. You know these retreats as the Captain’s Quarters and over the years, fans have gotten to see a wide variety of different rooms.
The folks at Angie’s List enlisted the help of an architect to help recreate 6 of these quarters in a detailed 3D reconstruction. We get a glimpse of what the rooms of Kirk, Picard, Janeway, Sisco, Archer, and Lorca look like. Take a look at each of the animated reconstructions below. After your done here, head over to Angie’s List to see their detailed descriptions of each of these designs.
Do you like these designs? Which one of these captain’s quarters is your favorite? Which of these six captains is your favorite? Sound off in the comments below and let us know your thoughts. Also, get ready for season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery which is premiering January 17th exclusively on the CBS All Access App.
