The Cast of Star: Trek Picard at The Saturn Awards
In attendance among the many cultural icons including Nicholas Cage, Ernie Hudson, Sean Gunn, and James Cameron. For over five decades, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror has fueled the imaginations of fans and creators alike. Established in 1972, this non-profit organization celebrates genre excellence through the Saturn Awards, screenings, and industry support.
During the Red Carpet Event, the cast spoke to journalists about their nominations, wins, and what it’s been like to be reunited with their Star Trek: The Next Generation castmates.
Each conversation with the cast members had one thing in common, and that was you could tell there was a deep love and respect for one another. “We’re all very good friends, the whole cast” explains actor Bret Spiner. “And we’ve known each other for, you know, now 36 years or so. And we see each other all the time. It’s just we work. We don’t see each other in uniform all the time. So it was great just to be back in uniform and playing with each other.”
