The 51st Annual Saturn Awards took place yesterday, Sunday, February 4th, and were hosted by Joel McHale. In attendance among the many cultural icons were Nicholas Cage, Ernie Hudson, Sean Gunn, and James Cameron.

For over five decades, the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror has fueled the imaginations of fans and creators alike. Established in 1972, this non-profit organization celebrates genre excellence through the Saturn Awards, screenings, and industry support.

Entertainment correspondent Victoria Male spoke with Nicholas Cage, Ernie Hudson, Sean Gunn, and James Cameron on the carpet of the Saturn Awards about their current and upcoming projects.

Stars and creators on the red carpet agreed that being at The Saturn Awards is one of the best times to be had during award season. When asked about what it was like being at the Saturn Awards Sean Gunn told us  “It’s great. It’s the nerd Golden Globes. I love being here.”
