Celebrating its second year, the queer-centric convention Niji Fest is coming to the Hotel Fera in Anaheim from May 15th to May 17th. Operated by Temple of Geek’s Maddie Morrow, this three day event promises to be bigger and better than before with tons of panels, guests, cosplays, and more.
Who Will Be Going to Niji Fest?

During its debut last year, Niji Fest took place for one at the Almond Haus Cafe in Claremont. This year, the convention is expanding, and the larger venue will accommodate many more guests. So, who are some of the people you can expect to see at Niji Fest?
Returning for his second year, Brian Beacock will have a table where’ll sign autographs and take photos with fans. This popular voice actor is known for his work in hit animes, such as Akutugawa in Bungo Stray Dogs, Yumichika in Bleach, and the black-and-white robotic bear, Monokuma, in Danganronpa.
In addition to Brian, you can also meet Jessie James Grelle Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan, Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia, and Tendō Satori in Haikyu!!) and Valerie Rose Lohman (Yuki Tadokoro in The Summer Hikaru Died and Jill Ridonor in Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter), as well as many others in the entertainment industry.
What Is There to Do at Niji Fest?

Aside from meeting the wonderful guests, you can attend one of the many cosplay gatherings, whether you’re cosplaying from Heated Rivalry, One Piece, or a series that features non-binary characters.
Thanks to the larger venue, there will also be tons of panels and celebrations. During the day, there will be several events appropriate for all ages, such as maid cafes and even anime yoga challenges. When the sun goes down, the 18+ panels will begin, including a Drag Show with Haus of Drag Cosplay on Friday from 9:30 to 10:15 PM and a Gay Rave on Saturday starting at 9:00 PM and ending at 2:00 AM!
However you choose to celebrate Niji Fest, you’re sure to have an incredible and memorable time.
