During the 10th Anniversary Hall H Panel at San Diego Comic Con, it was announced that CLONE WARS IS SAVED! Created by George Lucas and overseen by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: Clones Wars is an animated series that followed the adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Clones and Ahsoka Tano. Filoni announced during the Hall H panel that Star Wars: Clone Wars would return soon and would stream exclusively on its new streaming service. Star Wars: The Clone Wars, originally aired on Cartoon Network but was canceled after the Star Wars franchise was acquired by Disney Films. Season Six of Star Wars: The Clone Wars debuted on March 7th 2014 and ran for 12 episodes. These episodes did not close out the series as many fans had hoped. There were many questions left unanswered. What happened to Ahsoka? What became of Darth Maul? But most importantly, what events lead into Episode III Revenge of the Sith? The new Clone Wars episodes will continue where the original series left off. Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex will be making their return to the show.
