In this episode Alexandra chats with Lacey and Crystal, two Southern California cosplayers, about the different types of cosplay Instagram accounts that they use for cosplay. There’s also discussion about basic topics in social media, including how cosplayers can use Instagram in order to market themselves and connect with fans, photographers, and other cosplayers. We top level cover engagement and the algorithm, shadow banning, and how to protect yourself on social media.

Alexandra is the current host and brainchild behind the CosLifeHAQ podcast. An engineer by day and a cosplayer in whatever free time she musters, she’s a transplant from North Carolina that, while still new, has thrown herself headfirst into the cosplay community.
